The San Juan College SMART Lab is located near the Student Success Center, room 1600L. The SMART Lab is a resource to help students and community members brush up on various skills or subjects ranging from basic fundamentals to advanced studies.
Currently, we offer technology support for all San Juan College Students!
We also offer Face to Face Tutoring by appointment!

If you are having trouble navigating Canvas, Microsoft Office, or have questions about other technology needs please fill out a Tutoring and Technology Coaching Request Form. Appointments are available for online and in-person.
Please be aware that for both online and in-person appointments you can expect an email within 24 hours during the week. During the weekends, you can expect an email within 48 hours. Please contact us if you do not receive an email within these times.

A scanning, reading, writing and learning solution for students with learning disabilities or reading difficulties. Available on all computers in the lab. - emWavePC
The emWavePC Stress Relief System is an entertaining stress relief technology to help you reduce stress, balance your emotions and increase your internal awareness, self-regulation and emotional management skills. - Keyboarding Pro Deluxe 2.0
Combines key learning and skill-building lessons with document production software for Word 2007. Used by AOAP keyboarding courses, Keyboarding Pro Deluxe gives immediate feedback on keyboarding and proofreading skills. - Dragon Naturally Speaking
Dragon Naturally Speaking is a speech recognition software package that can help students who have trouble typing (for example a broken arm) enter text with their speech. - Language Lab
The Smart Lab provides support for Language classes including Spanish, French, German, and Navajo. A variety of software and media are available to all students.
